Marie B. Garnett

Marie B. Garnett of Corinth, KY was born July 16, 1933 in Laural County, KY and died Friday, April 26, 2024 in Georgetown, KY at the age of 90 Years.

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy Ann Tuttle Bruner. She was a cashier with Wilson’s Grocery, Owner operator of Marie’s Ceramic’s and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Harry Charles Garnett on January 5, 1952, and he preceded her in death on April 5 2014. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 1 son, Johnny Garnett; 1 brother, Bobby Bruner; 1 sister, Juanita Vance; 1 granddaughter, Trish Hall; and 2 great grandsons, Tyler Crosthwait and Caleb Wade Dyer.

Surviving is one son, Ricky (the late Carolyn) Garnett of Lawrenceburg; three daughters, Barbara (Tommy) Murphy of Sadieville, Peggy (Donnie) Dyer of Corinth, Mary (the late Greg) Hall of Corinth; 12 grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren; and 8 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth followed by burial in the Corinth IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will also be Wednesday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery or the Corinth Baptist Church.
