Marie Hall

Marie Hall, 86, of Corinth, KY passed away at the residence of a daughter on Monday November 23, 2020.  Born in Breathitt County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Mae Burton Smith.

On October 16, 1951 she was united in marriage to Donal Earl Hall, he preceded her in death.  She was a loving and dedicated homemaker and housewife. Sewing and working in her flower garden were her favorite pastimes. Being the wife of an Air Force member allowed her the opportunity to travel around the world with her husband, Donal. She was proud of being in the fifth generation of her family six different times. She was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church.

Marie leaves to carry on her legacy, two daughters: Donna Gibson of Corinth, KY, Angel Young of Corinth; five grandchildren: Kelley Perry, Lisa Blakely, Jason Hall, Phalisha Hall, Nathan Hall; 10 great-grandchildren: Nick Newman, Bryan Sharkey, Chelsea Perry, Dylan Newman, Leah Wilson, Andrea Wilson, Alexis Hall, Jasmine Young, Allison Hall, Ethan Hall and five great-grandchildren: Addison, Landyn, Jaxon, Brantley, Parker and Kayden, all of whom affectionately loved her as “Gramaw” and “Nanny”.   She was the last in a line of 10 siblings; those preceding her in death are seven brothers: Harvey Smith, Paul Smith, Steve Smith, Larry Smith, Nelson Smith, Roger Smith, Asbury Smith and three sisters: Opal Hall, Bonnie Keith and Doris Smith.  Both of her sons also preceded her in death: Michael Earl Hall and Greg Hall.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family.
