Marie Reed Vest

Marie Reed Vest was born November 21, 1925 in Crittenden, Kentucky and passed away February 28, 2021 in Union, Kentucky at the age of 95.  She was the daughter of the late Spencer and Mary Katherine Davis Reed.

Marie was a retired cashier with Verona Bank in Verona, Kentucky and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved playing games and cards.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Robinson (Tony) of Verona; a daughter-in-law: Nancy Vest of Verona; 4 grandchildren: Brian Robinson (Angie), Tonya Christy (Dane), Kim Cheesman and Karla Berry (Danny); 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Marie was united in marriage to Harold K. Vest who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her son: Kerry Vest; a brother: Harry Reed; and 2 sisters: Frances Mann and Ruth Stephenson.

Graveside services will 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona with Rev. Chad Brannen officiating.
