Marilynn Lawson Sullivan

February 19, 1939 - October 23, 2019

Mrs. Marilynn Lawson Sullivan of Verona, KY passed away Wednesday, October 23 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital at the age of 80 years.  She was born in Gallatin County, KY on February 19, 1939 to the late Leonard B and Evelyn Pearson Lawson.

Mrs. Sullivan was an Administrative Assistant at the Grant County Hospital for 22 years, she was a member and former treasurer of the Ten Mile Baptist Church.

Marilynn is survived by her son, Delbert Ray “Dale” (Barbara) Sullivan of Sparta, KY and daughter-inlaw, Regina Sullivan of Elkhart, IN, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Ray Sullivan, her son, Terry Douglas Sullivan, and two brothers, Jarvis Dean Lawson and Leonard Mitchell Lawson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sullivan will be conducted, 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the chapel of the Hamilton Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, Kentucky with Bro. Edwin Kirkpatrick officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the funeral home in Verona.  Burial will be in the Napoleon I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Warsaw, KY.
