Mark Huffman

Mark Huffman, formerly of Independence, passed away at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the age of 67.

Mark was born in Covington, KY on January 26, 1957 to the late Ray and Julie Huffman.  He was the owner/operator of Huffman Trucking for over 15 years.  He loved doing mechanic work on classic cars, loved drag racing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Amanda Lynn Hunley Huffman, his daughter, Felicia Huffman, three brothers, Denny and Steve, and Phillip Huffman and one sister, Julie Ann Huffman.  He is survived by one son, Josh Huffman, four brothers, Terry , Scott, Joseph and Eric Huffman, seven sisters, Diane Brewer, Sandy Riley, Karen Michaels, Teresa Gibson, Carolyn Vaught, Annett Rossell, Mary Morgan and five grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12-2pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  The memorial service will start at 2pm.  Burial will be at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
