Martin "Tim" York of Corinth, Kentucky

Martin “Tim” York , 64, a resident of Corinth, KY, passed away Thursday September 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born on Sunday April 17, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late John Lee and Letha Blanche Howard York.

Tim worked with the State of Kentucky Highway Department. He was a member of the UAW; he loved fishing, “shooting pool”, country music and watching old western movies. He was of the Christian faith and most recently was attending New Columbus Methodist Church.

Survivors include one sister: Norma (Zemer) Hammond; two brothers: Ronald (Norma) York and Donald Eugene ”Gene” (Margie) York, all of whom live in Corinth, KY and a sister-n-law: Marie York of Crittenden, KY.  He was preceded in death by a brother: John Dennis “Denny” York.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday September 26, 2019 at New Columbus Methodist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Souder Family Cemetery located on Pleasant Grove Road in Owen Co.
