Mary Louise Capito

June 5, 1930 - October 15, 2022

Mary Louise Capito, 92, passed away Saturday October 15, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born June 5, 1930 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Marsha Rowland Browning.

On February 9, 1946 she was united in marriage to George “Pete” Robert Capito; he preceded her in death on October 22, 2021. She was a dedicated housewife and homemaker. She will long be remembered for her love for quilting; her warm, welcoming smile coupled with her friendly personality caused her to be endeared by everyone she met. Making people feel comfortable and happy was one of her special gifts. She was a member of Elsmere Church of Christ.

She leave to carry on her legacy, six grandchildren: Chaney Capito of Union, KY, Elizabeth (Zachary) Rizzo of Hebron, KY, Michaela (Logan) Epperson of Dry Ridge, KY, Randall Capito II of Rome, GA, Stephanie Capito of Dry Ridge, KY and Brandie (Dana) Capito of Elsmere, KY. Sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by their two children: Michael N. Capito and Randall A. Capito and three sisters:  Wanda Tebelman, Carol Magaha and Imojene Burden.

Visitation will be Thursday October 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m.at Stanley Funeral Homes – Crittenden location.  Funeral services beginning at 12:30 with an arrival time of 2:00 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Erlanger for interment.
