Mary Lee Curry Crase

Mary Lee Curry Crase was born in Bypro, Kentucky in Floyd County on January 23, 1941 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence on October 7, 2018 at the age of 77.  A resident of Union, KY, She was the daughter of the late Ukle and Bertha Little Curry.

On February 21, 1961, Mrs. Crase was united in marriage with Manuel Lee Crase who preceded her in death on August 31, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tina Crase.  She is survived by three sons: Guy Dwayne Crase of Verona, Gregory Dale Crase and his wife, Donna, of Union and Jason Larid Crase of Florence; one daughter: Jennifer Lee Will and her husband, Gregory, of Delaware, OH; one sister: Melba Pippin and her husband, Paul, of Winchester; five grandchildren: Katelyn Leann Crase, Jacob Hunter Crase, Jonathan Crase, Elizabeth Crase and Daniel Crase and one great granddaughter: Isla Presley Crase.

A lover of puzzles and reading, Mary loved to cook for her family.  She remained a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.   Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.

Anyone wanting to bring food for the bereavement meal may deliver to the basement of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona anytime after 12 Noon on the day of the service.
