Mary Katherine Jackson of Florence, Kentucky

July 2, 1935 - April 8, 2023

Mary Katherine Jackson, 87, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Harrison Co. Memorial Hospital.  Born July 2, 1935 on Lincoln Ridge in Grant Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Estel and Lillian Ellen Collier Mason.

On May 30, 1953, Mary Katherine was united in marriage to Steve Jackson, Jr.; he preceded her in death last month on March 5 ^th. She was a graduate of Butler High School in Pendleton County.  She worked as a sales clerk in the Jewelry Department of both J.C. Penney and Walmart.

She leaves to carry on her legacy of love, two sons: Richard (Rick) and his wife, Dorothy of Georgetown, KY, Stuart Jackson and his wife, Connie of Florence, KY; one daughter: Lisa Haynes of Union, KY; four sisters: , Thelma Louise Craine, Patty Jane Muller, Pamela Fay Mason Pope, Sharon Lee Travis and one brother:  Robert Mason. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by four sisters: Velma Jean Schuerman, Margaret Ann Ratclife, Brenda Marie Partin, and Valerie Laurene Mason and one brother: Glenn Earl Mason.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 17, 2023 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; funeral services will begin at 1:00. She will be laid to rest next to her husband of almost 70 years, Steve, at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
