Mary Ellen Murray

Mary Ellen Murray was born December 1, 1927 in Sherman, Kentucky and passed away January 14, 2020 in New Port Richey, Florida at the age of 92.  She was the daughter of the late James Ernest and Ella Belle Lucas Cook.

Mary was a retired makeup consultant for Macy's Department Store in Castleton Square, Indiana.

She is survived by a son: Alvin Raymond Murray of Osgood, IN; 2 daughters: Nancy Jean Woody of Navarro, FL and Barbara Lee Stone of New Port Richey, FL; a sister: Marie Polly of Lexington; 4 grandchildren: Todd Woody, Ted Woody, Thomas McKenna and Angela McKenna; and 5 great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Robert Lee Wainscott in 1974 and Raymond Murray in 1991.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11 AM - 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
