Michael Thomas Ellis

Michael Thomas "Mike" Ellis was born October 27, 1946 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away September 21, 2018 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 71 after a long illness.  He was the son of Billy and Betty Colson Ellis of Corinth.

Mike was a retired road construction worker and a member of Corinth Christian Church where he formerly faithfully served as a deacon.

Mike was very passionate about the outdoors and was known to enjoy many hobbies including hunting, fishing, bee keeping and trapping.

On June 26, 1965, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Yelland Ellis.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mike is survived by a son Michael Shane Ellis of Georgia; a daughter: Michaela Monds of Corinth; a brother: Mickey Ellis; and 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery in Corinth, Kentucky.
