Michael Jon Rourk

Michael Jon Rourk, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away peacefully at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY on September 28, 2023 at the age of 71. He was the husband of Ann Hughes Rourk.

Mike was a retired truck driver of over 30yrs.  He was a former employee of Flying Tigers and a former United State Air Force veteran. He loved to reading, hunting, camping, woodworking and model railroading.  He was known as a jack-of-all trades and could fix almost anything.  He loved to attend his grandchildren's sports events and to spend time with them.

In addition to his wife Ann, Mike is survived by two sons, Jon (Leigh Ann) Rourk, Joshua Rourk, two daughters Megan (Michael) Kottmyer, Michelle (Kevin) Law, six grandchildren, Peyton, Bryce, Grace, Layla, Logan and Addy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Ardelle Barrott Rourk and two brothers, Dennis and Patrick Rourk.

A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.  He will be laid to rest at the KY Veteran's Cemetery, North in Williamstown, KY.  Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home of Crittenden is handling arrangements.  Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017.
