Michael Lane Thomas, born on July 30, 1995, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on April 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was married to his wife, Jordan Clark, and was the beloved son to his parents, Michelle Hinkle Thomas and Bryan Lane Thomas.
A proud graduate of Grant County High School, Michael was known for his spirited participation in sports, playing both football and wrestling, and he took great pride in being a member of the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC). His dedication and passion for teamwork and discipline carried through into his career as a maintenance worker for D.B. Schenker.
Outside of his professional life, Michael had a zest for adventure and the great outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt, often seeking solace in nature, whether it was hiking through trails or traveling to the mountains and beaches. Additionally, he found joy in playing video games, where he would connect with friends and unwind after a busy day.
Michael was also a cherished brother to his sister, Carley Thomas, and a beloved grandson to Kenneth and Billie Carter. He is survived by multiple aunts and uncles, each of whom held him dear, as well as his loyal pet dog, Callie.
The family would like to invite all who knew and loved Michael to a Celebration of Life on April 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, Kentucky.
