Michele Ann Pope

Michele Ann Pope, 54, of Williamstown, KY, passed away Thursday May 19 2022 at residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born Sunday July 23, 1967 in Pontiac, MI and raised in Oxford, MI, she was the daughter of Donald Julien and the late Asenatha ”Ann” Miracle Julien.

On July 24, 1988 she was united in marriage to Mark Anthony Pope; he survives. She was a graduate of Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan and a graduate of Nash Academy for Pet Grooming in Lexington, KY. Riding motorcycles and operating her pet grooming business were among her favorite pastimes but her greatest fulfillment came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom lovingly referred to her as “Nana”.

In addition to her husband of 34 years, Mark Anthony, she is survived by her father: Donald Julien of Columbiaville, MI; two sons: Christopher James Pope, Michael Andrew (Samantha) Pope, both of Williamstown; one sister: Cathy (Jeff) Buckel of Fostoria, MI; one brother: Daniel (Jeanette) Julien of Oxford, MI, along with two grandchildren: Mark Aidan Pope and Russell Gabriel Pope.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown.
