Mildred Jean "Millie" Huffman

Millie had a successful career as a manager of Ohio Pen Company from which she retired.

She was a long serving member of The Irish Rovers and Homemakers Club in her community.

Millie was such a caring woman who spent most of her life thinking and doing for others. Her heart was so unbelievably selfless.

Her cooking and wonderful words of wisdom soothed the soul. She would never let you leave her home hungry or without a smile.

Her favorite way to spend her time was sharing stories, laughing, listening to music, traveling with her husband and family, doing puzzles, crosswords, going to community events, and spending time in her garden. It is where she found peace and felt most loved being surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born to the late Ivan Roy Adams and Goldie Mae Setters on March 24, 1928 in Morning View Kentucky. Survived by her husband of 53 years Marvin D. Huffman of Morning View KY, her sister Dorothy Hopperton of Crittenden KY, children Phyllis (Jim) Woltermann of Union KY, Linda Howell of Covington KY, Benjamin Jones of Park Hills KY, Barbara (Mick) Thompson of Villa Hills KY, Robert (Linda) Huffman of Covington KY, & Michael (Sharon) Huffman of Verona KY. She is also survived by 18 beloved grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews & friends.

She is preceded in death by twelve brothers & sisters, two daughters Janet & Janice Jones, and her grandson Adam Jones.

Visitation will be held on 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Hamilton Stanley Funeral Home 14635 Walton Verona Road in Verona KY with funeral service to immediately follow.
