Mildred Imogene O'Banion

Mildred Imogene Toole O’Banion of Dry Ridge, KY was born May 6, 1927 in the Lawrenceville Community of Grant County, KY and died Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Williamstown at the age of 95.

She was the daughter of the late Richard Kepple and Hazel Marie Steinius Toole. She was a retired owner operator of the former O & S Department Store, Dry Ridge, former clerk at Grant County Drugs, Dry Ridge and a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. On February 13, 1943 she was united in marriage to Howard “Piddle” O’Banion who preceded her in death on May 27, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Jean Rogers, and two sisters:  Lois Penick and Elaine Sargent.

Surviving are her two daughters, Diane (the late Eddie) West of Williamstown and Robin Kay (Gary) Mullikin of Greenwood, IN, one son, Howard Wayne O’Banion of Batavia, OH, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will also be Tuesday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Dry Ridge Baptist Church.
