Minnie Ward Polly

Minnie Ward Polly of Florence, KY and formerly of Dry Ridge, KY was born March 20, 1928 in Newport, KY and passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her residence at the age of 94.

She was the daughter of the late Everett Bagby Ward and Rose Leatha Jane Craig. She was a retired clerk for Square D Company, Florence, KY and a member of the Violet Ridge Church of Christ, Crittenden. On April 3, 1987 she was united in marriage to her husband, Daniel Andrew Polly who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Mann.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Bonnie Scott of Florence and Kitty Jones of Biloxi, MS; 2 sons, Albert W. “Bill” Mann of Florence and David Mann of Latonia; 1 step-son, Dan Polly of Erlanger; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY followed by burial in the Richwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will also be 11:00am-1:00pm, Saturday at the funeral home.
