Nancy Ann Grant Taylor

Nancy Ann Grant Taylor , 89, of Dry Ridge, KY, died Tuesday November 5, 2024 her residence.  Born on January 20, 1935 in McGallon, TX, she was the daughter of the late John McDonald and Nancy Ann McAllen Grant.

On November 19, 1955, she was united in marriage to Homer Taylor; he preceded her in death on March 4, 2021. Nancy had a beautiful spirit that animated her personality and accentuated her love for life, especially her family; she will fondly be remembered for her love for animals and plants.  She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Dry Ridge.

She leaves to carry on her memory, three daughters: Tandy Taylor, Cheryl Downs and Nancy Taylor; one son: John Thomas Taylor, all of Dry Ridge, KY, along with three grandchildren: Heather Riley, Danielle Dalton, Grant Downs and five great-grandchildren: Christopher Robbins, Tyler Jenkins, Trenton Dalton, Hunter Dalton and Bentley Downs, all of whom lovingly called her “Grandma” and “Granny”.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday November 12, 2024 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 12:45 with Pastor Tyler Edwards officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest with her husband, Homer, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North.  Scheduled arrival time at KVC-N is 2 p.m.
