Naomi Fern Atha

Naomi Fern Davis Atha was born May 1, 1932 in Breathitt County, Kentucky and passed away June 22, 2020 in Warsaw, Kentucky at the age of 88.  She was the daughter of the late Denny and Meda Taulbee Davis.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bradford Atha.  In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Fontaine Cho and Colleen Atha; 3 Brothers: Jimmy Dale Davis, Donnie Davis and Otis Davis; and 3 sisters: Wilma Davis, Glenna and Rhonda.

Fern is survived by a daughter: Carol Cook of Crittenden; 4 brothers: Vincent Davis of Dry Ridge, Lloyd Davis of Crittenden, Mike Davis of Warsaw and Greg Davis of Gallatin Co.; 3 sisters: Sherry Davis Napier of Union, Vernice Rae of Hebron and Trudy Davis of Florence; 4 grandchildren: Elizabeth Smoot of Crittenden, Patrick and Claire Cho of Singapore and Katie Phipps of Clermont, FL; and 3 great grandchildren: Ian Phipps, Andrew Phipps and Taliah Smoot.

Fern was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dry Ridge and a homemaker.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Pleasant View Cemetery.
