Nellie Jean Sanford

March 1, 1952 — September 13, 2018

Nellie "Jeannie" Chandler Sanford was born March 1, 1952 in Grant Co., Kentucky and passed away Sept. 13, 2018 in Williamstown, KY at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Opha Eversole Chandler.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband: Hillard Sanford in 1996.

She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Dry Ridge and was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant for Northkey in Williamstown and for Jonesville Rest Home.

Jeannie enjoyed spending her time painting and loved crocheting. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a good friend.

Jeannie is survived by 2 daughters: Alanna Morris of Houston, TX and Jennifer Smith of Williamstown, KY; 2 brothers: Lee Chandler of Dry Ridge and Robert Chandler of Byron, GA; 7 grandchildren: Kaylee Brook Green, Shaylynn Desiree Henley, Asia Jaylynn Freels, Kyla Edmondson, Natasha Edmondson, Christopher Hamon and Vincent Stephens; and 4 great grandchildren: Brooklyn Mae Green, Vincent S. Stephens, Jr., Natalia Stephens, and John Paul Stephens.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Virgil Chandler; and 2 sisters: June Peletier and May Blevins.

Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.
