Norma Jean Gaskins

Norma Jean Pickett Gaskins was born March 27, 1935 in Frankfort, KY and passed away November 15, 2024 in Richmond, KY at the age of 89.  She was the daughter of the late Raymon and Ora Bates Pickett.

Norma worked for Jung Products in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a member of the Corinth Community Worship Center.  She was a hard worker throughout her life.  When she wasn't working she enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Gaskins, a brother, George Pickett, two sisters, Pearl Chipman and Mary Smith.

Norma is survived by her son, Garry Gross, of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Eugene Pickett of Williamstown; and two sisters, Linda Kalnyk, of Mt. Vernon and Donna Sue Wright, of Owenton, 1 granddaughter, Nacole (Stacy) Smith of Mt. Vernon, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren all of Mt. Vernon.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery in Williamstown.
