Norma Lou Hedges

Norma Lou Hedges of Dry Ridge, KY was born March 26, 1935 in Jonesville, KY and died Monday, August 16, 2021 in Warsaw, KY at the age of 86.

She was the daughter of the late Otis and Ella Mae Kinman Osborne. Norma was a retired Dry Ridge Postal Clerk, a member of the Order of Eastern Star #301, and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church where she was active in the CWF. On November 6, 1953 She was united in marriage to her husband George David Hedges, Jr. who preceded her in death on May 7, 2013. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald, Phillip, Leroy and Terry Osborne, Doris Osborne and Peggy Alexander.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Pam Hedges and Kim (Greg) Brockman both of Dry Ridge, 1 grandson, Eric Brockman, 1 grand dog Archie, and 2 grand cats, Miso and Lilly.

Funeral services will be at 10:00am Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dry Ridge Christian Church Scholarship Fund, the Grant County Animal Shelter, or to the Donors Choice.
