Norman Lee Holly of Florence, Kentucky

Norman Lee Holly , 74, a Florence residence, died unexpectedly on June 12, 2019 at his residence. Born July 20, 1944 in Glencoe, KY, he was the son of the late George and Mamie Holly.

He retired from the Greater Cincinnati Airport (CVG) where had worked in the Maintenance Dept. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing a round of golf with is golfing buddies. He was a member of the Florence Temple Baptist Church in Burlington.

Survivors include one daughter: Michelle (Shelly) Kohls and her husband, Michael of California, KY; one brother: Steve Holly of Florence, KY and one sister: Patsy (Arnold) Lilliard of Glencoe, KY. Four grandchildren also survive: Pierce (Kendra) Kohls, Preston (Ashley) Kohls, Priscilla (Josh) Turner and Portia Kohls, along with two great-grandchildren: Merritt Kohls and Florence Turner, all of whom affectionately knew him as “Grand Pa Holly”.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The date and time will be posted on this website once that has been determined.
