Norval Marsh Gullion

Mrs. Norval Gullion, a Verona resident, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY at the age of 100.  She was the widow of the late Ray Dean Gullion.

Norval was born on March 6, 1922 in Walton, KY to Abijah C. and Marian Virginia Marsh.  She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker all of her life.  She formerly has worked in sewing, and grocery stores.  She absolutely loved music, playing the dulcimer, piano and singing in the choir at church.

Norval is survived by one daughter, Charlotte (John) Cunningham of Walton, KY, one brother, Harold Lee (Gail) Marsh of Verona, KY, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by one daughter, Jennie Smith, brothers, Henry, Ralph, Forest, Lloyd Marsh, sisters Laura Rader, Evelyn Pennington and Gertrude Browning.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Funeral Services will be at 1pm.  Burial will follow at the New Bethel Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the New Bethel Baptist Church.
