Oleane S. Marler

Oleane S. Marler of Jonesville, KY was born Sunday, July 6, 1924 in Samson, AL and died Friday, April 12, 2024 in Jonesville, KY at the age of 99 years.

She was the daughter of the late James Coley and Essie Annie Davis Snow. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, O.C. Snow; 3 sisters, Gladys Donaldson, Bobbie Rae Morris, and Ovie Lee Parker; and her husband, Claude J. Marler, Jr.

Surviving is her daughter, Claudine (Thurman) Kinman of Jonesville; a sister, Cleatsie Mae Howell of Fairview, AL; 2 grandchildren, Scott (Crystal) Kinman of Jonesville and Pamela (Jerome) Jackson of Alabama; 6 great-grandchildren, Kelsey Perkins, Noel Howell, Alexis Kinman, Chloe Kinman, Shelby Kinman, and Bella Kinman; and 3 great great-grandchildren, Dawson Perkins, Lainey Pettit, and Ryder Howell.

Visitation will be 11:00am-12:00pm Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. There will also be a visitation Friday 12:00pm-1:40pm at the Hayes Funeral Home in Elba, AL followed by a 2:00pm graveside service at the New Home Cemetery in Elba, AL .
