Oral Berle Jones

Mr. Oral B. Jones, an Independence resident, passed away at the VA Hospital in Cincinnati, OH on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the age of 76. He was the widower of the late Linda Riddle Jones. Mr. Jones was a lifelong trapper. He dedicated countless hours assisting in local county 4H clubs with animal control and was a mentor to many students. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Covington, KY, the DAV, VFW of Alexandria and the American Legion in Walton, KY. Mr. Jones is survived by two sons, Warren and Bryan Jones, one sister, Sarah Gregory, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
