Orville Paul Daley was born May 20, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away at his residence March 13, 2024 after a short illness. He was the son of the late John Charles and Olive Monroe Daley
Orville was a retired industrial mechanic for IMO Boston Gear and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was also a member of St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown.
Orville dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. In his spare time he loved restoring cars and riding motorcycles. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. His family will remember him for his love of eating.
On August 29, 1960 Orville was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary Ann Middendorf Daley. In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by three sons: Raymond Charles Daley (Ji) of Richardson, TX, Joseph Andrew Daley of Williamstown and Donald Daley of Williamstown; three daughters: Christine Kloeker (Leonard) of Morning View, Paula Neuspickel of Falmouth and Constance Marie Campbell of Florence; two sisters: Joyce Whaley and Lora James both of Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons: John Paul Daley, Stephen Michael Daley and Daniel Patrick Daley; a daughter: Mary Daley; five brothers: Earl Daley, Eugene Daley, Edward Daley, Charles Shrout and Robert Daley; and four sisters: Patricia Walsh, Charlene Wolke, Martha Laub and Ruth Shoemaker.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM, Monday, at St. William Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
