Mrs. Pamela Russell Raleigh, a lifelong resident of Warsaw, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her residence at the age of 62.
Mrs. Raleigh was born on February 10, 1959 to Flossie Powers Russell of Warsaw, Ky and the late Oscar Russell, Sr. She was a former shipping manager for Meritor Wabco in Hebron, KY and a homemaker. She was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church and a very spiritual woman. She loved to sing and listen to music. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, UK Basketball, cooking, baking, reading novels and the Bible. She was known as a social butterfly, loved people and never met a stranger. She is known to have been the glue of the family whom everyone loved to come to, for comfort and love. Her favorite pastime in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother Flossie, Pam is also survived by one son, John F. McKenzie, II, of Warren, NJ, three daughters, Tonya Short of Cincinnati, OH, Evelyn McKenzie of Warren, NJ, Jessica McKenzie of Covington, KY, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 4-6pm. Funeral service will be at 6pm. Both services will be at Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home of Verona, KY.
