Patricia Ann Ellis of Corinth, Kentucky

April 23, 1949 - April 17, 2019

Patricia Ann Ellis , 69, a resident of Corinth, passed away Thursday April 17, 2019 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon, KY after a long, extended illness. Born in Indiana on April 23, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Wilford and Thelma Hemmings Yelland.

On June 26, 1965 she was united in marriage to Michael Thomas Ellis, he preceded her in death on September 21, 2018. She will long be remembered as a spunky, feisty, loving individual that poured her love and energy into her family. She had a huge collection of angels, most of which she made by hand. Cooking was one of her greatest talents; the grandchildren will miss their “Grandma Pat’s” yummy rice pudding and delicious yeast rolls. She was a member of the Corinth Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Michaela Monds of Corinth, KY; one son: Michael Shane Ellis of Georgia and three sisters: Susan Brewer of Loogootee, IN, Mary Bosecker of Newburgh, IN and Rebecca Trogden of Rockport, IN. Four grandchildren also survive: Cari Ellis, Sheena Ellis, Aaron McGraw and Sierra Neal, along with 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday April 23, 2019 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth beginning at 1:00 p.m. and going till the time of the funeral at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery in Corinth, KY.
