Patsy Sue Henderson

Patsy Sue Henderson, 91, of Union, KY, formerly of Williamstown , entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence after a brief illness. Born Monday, December 16, 1929 on Falmouth Rd in Williamstown, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ransom and Mary Lee Gulick Marquette.

On January 30, 1951 in Cynthiana, KY, she was united in marriage to Lawson Gardner Henderson; he preceded her in death on April 14, 2014.  She served as an elementary school teacher’s aide in Finneytown, OH. Her entire life was dedicated to doing for others. She will long be remembered as a great Christian lady, an amazing mom, grandmother, wife, friend, an unbelievably great cook and overwhelmingly one of God’s greatest gifts to everyone that knew her.  She was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church where she lovingly helped with the Bereavement Meal Ministry.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy, three sons: Gary Lawson Henderson of Union, KY, Scott (Sharon) Marquette Henderson of Union, KY, David Todd (Jean) Henderson of Blue Ash, OH and one sister: Laura Frances Wagers of Lebanon, OH.  Four grandchildren also survive: Shelley (Joel) Zang, Sarah Bernardini, Tess (Matthew) Woods, Brynne (Darius) Miller along with eight great grandchildren: Gianna Bernardini, Cecily Bernardini, Antonio Bernardini, Vincent Bernardini, Jackson Zang, Ethan Zang, Nadia Miller and Kalani Miller, all of whom lovingly called her “Grandma Pat”.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard Julius Marquette, Louis Marquette, Jr., John Charles “Brack” Breckenridge Marquette; three sisters: Pauline Elizabeth Juett, Ada Louise Lowe and Mary Lena Estridge.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 12 Noon with John C.B. “Brack” Marquette officiating at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Visitation will begin at 10:00 and go until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be her three sons: Scott, Todd and Gary along with Darius, Joel and Matt.
