Patsy Ann Wainscott

Patsy Ann Burrows Wainscott , 75, of Corinth, KY, entered her eternal home on Thursday March 21, 2024 at her residence.  Born on February 11, 1949 in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lowien and Pauline Winkle Burrrows (Brown).

She was a 1967 graduate of Scott County High School in Georgetown and was united in marriage to Billy Ray Wainscott; he preceded her in death on August 4, 2008. After many years, she retired as a Package Assembler for UPS. Everyone that knew Patsy knew her to be a gentle-spirited lady; always giving of her time and talents; she was an animal lover, especially cats.  She will be fondly remembered as an avid gardener; she loved reading and enjoyed bird watching.  She was actively involved in the ministries of her church, Corinth Christian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir; in years past she served as the church secretary, served as a member of the Ladies Aide and took on the custodial duties of the church. On many occasions, many would hear her say, “I love my church.”

She is survived by her son: Steven (Carla) Combs of Corinth, one sister: Geraldine Conrad of Midway, along with three grandchildren: Stephen Matthew (Abbi) Combs, Kayla Morgan (Austin) Mattingly, Dakota James Combs and two great-grandchildren: Delaney Rose Combs and Reyne Helena Mattingly.  She was preceded in death by one brother: Richard Burrows and one sister: Allene Burrows.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Corinth Christian Church with Pastor Quintin McNabb officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 and go until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
