Paul Thomas Ison

Mr. Paul Thomas Ison of Corinth, KY. passed away Friday, March 12 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. at the age of 79.  Mr. Ison was born November 10, 1941 in Covington, KY. to the late Paul Edward Ison and Mary Hilda Lonnemann Ison.  Mr. Ison along with his wife were the founders and owner/operators of Kenton Equipment in Independence, KY.  Mr. Ison proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was the former pastor of the True Vine Praise and Worship when the church was located in Independence.  For many years he was actively involved in the Kentucky Jail Ministries and the Northern Kentucky Right To Life.  Mr. Ison had a shop at home and could always be found tinkering on something mechanical whether it be a car or a tractor.  Mr. Ison was a member of the True Vine Praise and Worship in its more recent home in Walton, KY.

On April 13, 1963 Mr. Ison was united in marriage to Barbara Freimuth and he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Barbara Ison.  He is also survived by 2 daughters: Darian Tara Witham of Winchester, KY., Dacian Thea Keaton and her husband Duane of Georgetown, KY., 2 sons: David Thomas Ison and his wife Terri of Beverly Hills, FL., Daniel Thomas Ison and his wife Julie of Walton, KY., 2 sisters: Marilyn Ison of Mason, OH., Diane Ledbetter and her husband Rick of Mason, OH., 1 brother: David Ison of Florida.  He has 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother: James Ison.

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Thomas Ison will be private at the True Vine Praise and Worship.  Burial with military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.  There will be a public visitation for Mr. Ison on Wednesday, March 17 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the New Hope Pregnancy Center, 228 Thomas More Parkway, Crestview Hills, KY. 41017.
