Pearl Alice Pernell

Pearl Alice Atha Pernell of Florence, KY was born January 25, 1927 in Covington, KY and died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 95.

She was the daughter of the late Ben and Alma Sturgeon Atha, a homemaker, and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. In 1945 she was united in marriage to Eddie Thomas Pernell who preceded her in death.

Surviving are: 3 sons, Jackie (Deborah) Pernell of Independence, Ricky Wayne Pernell of Florence, and Donnie Dwight (Angie) Branum of Sanders; 1 daughter, Shirley Twadell of Florence; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private for the family at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona followed by burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
