Peggy Joyce Cavins

Peggy Joyce Cavins of Florence, KY was born March 17, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN and died at her residence Monday, October 25, 2021 at the age of 68 years.

She was the daughter of the late William Edward and Kathyrn Louise Wright Eddington, a homemaker, and a member of the Community Family Church in Independence, KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Edward Eddington. On August 17, 1973, she was united in marriage to her husband, Larry George Cavins.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Cavins of Florence; 2 daughters, Trina Stephens of Independence and Jamie Cavins of Erlanger; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Donald Eddington of Dry Ridge; and 3 sisters, Charlotte Hutson of Covington, Vicky Callahan of Independence and Renee Stephens of Florence.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will also be Friday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
