Peggy Jean O'Neill

Ms. Peggy Jean O'Neill, a Ghent resident, passed away at the Gallatin Nursing Center in Warsaw, KY on June 15, 2021 at the age of 75.

Peggy was a former employee/manager trainer for the Ground Round Restaurant Corporation.  She was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church.  She loved sewing, gardening, camping and traveling.  Her family describes her as a loving and caring woman whose most important thing in life was cherishing time spent with her family.

Peggy was born in Williamstown, KY to the late Wilmore "Bill" O'Neill and Virginia Souder O'Neill.  She is survived by two sons, Jerry Beckham, Jr. of Ghent, KY, Rodney Beckham of Cincinnati, OH, one daughter, Kimberly Beckham of Louisville, KY, special friend Kevin Reynolds of Carrollton, KY, one brother, Junior (Claudia) O'Neill of Lexington, KY, two sisters, Rita (Wayne) Lewis of Ghent, KY, Arlene (Carl) Griffin of Dry Ridge, KY, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene O'Neill and one great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11am at the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, KY.  Rev. Dan Flowers will be officiating services.  Memorials are suggested to the St. E. Hospice or Sanders Baptist Church.
