Phil Eugene Gilliland

Phil Eugene Gilliland of Dry Ridge, KY was born November 3, 1950 in Hamilton, OH and died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his residence at the age of 74 years.

He was the son of the late Phillip Wayne and Edna Loretta Thomas Gilliland. He was a retired Extrusion Technician for Hopple Plastics and had formerly worked at Interlace Steel. On September 26, 1969 he was united in marriage to his wife, Kathy Eversole Gilliland. In addition to his parents Phil was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tony Kay Wood and a grandson, Daniel Wood.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Kathy Gilliland of Dry Ridge; 2 grandchildren, Travis (Alexis) Wood and Jordan Wood; 1 great-grandchild Parker Wood; a sister, Vicki Lee (Randy) Dalton of Crittenden; and a nephew, Adam (Alisha) Wright and their children, Kaylee and Abby Wright all of Pendleton County, KY.

A Celebration of Phil’s Life will be private and at the convenience of the family.
