Phyllis Koch Baker

Phyllis Koch Baker, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the Rosedale Green Nursing Home on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the age of 93.  She was the widow of the late Glenn Baker.

Phyllis was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 3, 1929 to the late Phillip and Martha Preising Koch.  In 1956, she was united in marriage to Glenn H. Baker.  She was a former clerk and operator for Cincinnati Bell for 35 years.  She was a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. She loved to RV camp, travel and spend time near the beach in Alabama.

Phyllis is survived by one son, Phillip (Mary Ann) Baker of Latonia, KY, one daughter, Paula Smith of Florence, KY, four grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Nathan and Katie, and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son in law, Rodney, one sister, Dorothy Polhman and two dogs, Mitzi and Lucy Ann.

A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family at the KY Veteran's Cemetery, North in Williamstown.  Pastor Tim Polley will be officiating services. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be announced here at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the Dry Ridge Christian Church.
