Phyllis Karen Wainscott

Phyllis Karen Schlueter Wainscott was born December 10, 1949 and passed away May 16, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY at the age of 74.  She was born in Covington, KY to the late Melvin Lee and Betty Ruth Bowen Schlueter.

Phyllis was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and spent most of her time advancing in her career as a Hotel Housekeeping Manager.   She also had a love of cooking that she shared with her family and friends.

On August 22, 1972 she was united in marriage to her husband, Robert Gayle Wainscott who survives along with their four children:  a son, Bobby Gayle Wainscott, Jr of Dry Ridge, KY,  three daughters; Cheri Allen of Dry Ridge, KY, Sonya Massengale of St. Bernard, OH, and Carrie Iles of Crittenden, KY, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers; Daryl Schlueter of Dry Ridge, KY, Ronald Schlueter of Demossville, KY and a sister Connie Gripshover of Crittenden, KY.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY.  Funeral Services will be 12:00PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY followed by the burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Demossville, KY.
