R B Gambrel

R B Gambrel, age 70, of Williamstown, KY, passed away Sunday November 20, 2022 at his residence. Born Saturday February 9, 1952 in Barbourville, KY, he was the son of the late J B and Ethel Mae Russ Gambrel. R B was a self-employed truck driver who enjoyed riding his motorcycles. He proudly served his country in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Survivors include his daughter: Nicole (Steven) Auchter of Butler, KY; one son: Casey Gambrel of Florence, KY; two brothers: James Gambrel, Gary Gambrel; one sister: Linda Vaughn and his granddaughter: Kaydence Pitts. He was preceded in death by three brothers: David Gambrel, Andy Gambrel, Leroy Gambrel and one sister: Candy Gambrel. Visitation will be Tuesday November 29, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown location. Funeral services will begin at 12:45 with an arrival time of 2:00 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North. Bro Scotty Simpson will be officiating.
