Rebecca Ruth Warner

Rebecca Ruth Dixon Warner of Crittenden, KY was born Oct 13, 1922 in Blackey, KY and died Thu. April 8, 2021 at her residence at the age of 98.

She was daughter of the late James Caudill and Lucinda Campbell Dixon, who raised her in Jackson County, KY for which she was very proud of. She was a former weaver for Franklin Cotton Mill in Cincinnati, OH, as well as a homemaker and farmer, and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. On June 25, 1943 she was united in marriage to her husband Carl Grant Warner who preceded her in death, Feb. 22, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Laurence Dixon, and 2 sisters Edith Roark and Lillian Monhollin.

Surviving is her son, Rodney (Vicki) Warner of Verona; 2 daughters, Donna Rhea Warner and Carol (Clayton) Rork both of Crittenden; 6 grandchildren, Krystal Warner, Nathan (Stacy) Warner, Angie Partin, William Warner, Melanie (Mark) Spencer, and Jimmy (Sabrina) Warner; 8 great-grandchildren; and 9 great great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial at the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday, 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
