Rev. Thomas Henry Knipfer

January 22, 1953 — October 2, 2024

Rev. Thomas Henry Knipfer entered this world on January 22, 1953 in Covington, KY to the late Arthur Edward and Billy Louise Perry Knipfer. He was a well-loved “Child of God”, who loved sharing God’s Word and being a true and genuine witness for the Lord. He made his triumphant transition to Glory on Wednesday October 2, 2024 with his eyes looking toward Heaven. Bro. Knipfer grew up in Burlington, KY and joined the U. S. Air Force, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. On August 21, 1999 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Ann Clark, she survives. Thomas was an avid hunter and fisherman; he enjoyed collecting guns and coins, loved exercising his talents in woodworking and had a special appreciation for music. He unreservedly placed his trust in God and was constantly in tune to the Lord’s leadership. He was a selfless individual; he lived to please God and conscientiously allowed God to order his steps. Bro. Thomas was a great conversationalist, in any subject matter, but will best be remembered for being a “Man of Faith”; there is no doubt his legacy followed him to Heaven. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Dry Ridge, KY. Leaving to carry on Bro. Knipfer’s legacy is his wife, Mary Ann Knipfer of Williamstown, KY; one son: Tommy Knipfer of Florence, KY; four daughters: Tammy (Jamy) Tillman of Dayton, OH, Beverly Pierce of Sevierville, TN, Karen (Todd) Andrews of Palm Harbor, FL, Sarah (Josh) Weatherford of Berry, KY; four brothers: Jim (Betty) Knipfer of Ludlow, KY, Al (Linda) Knipfer of Palm Bay, FL, Richard (Judy) Knifper of Greenville, SC, Ron (Kim) Knipfer of Covington, KY and four sisters: Evelyn (Nick) Vice of Greenville, S.C., Debbie Knipfer of Florence, KY, Pam Myers of Florence, KY, Lisa (Terry) Noe of Florence, KY, along with12 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
