Rex Alan Gordon

Rex Alan Gordon , 59, of Williamstown, KY, died Monday March 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born Thursday February 9, 1961 in Covington, KY, he was the son of Marvin Gordon and the late Hazel Gordon.

On August 26, 1983, he was united in marriage at Stringtown Christian Church to the former Dora Mae Scott; she survives. He was a Service Technician with Clayton Homes in Walton. He was an Amateur Radio Operator (HAM) for FEMA. In his spare time, Rex enjoyed being an escort for mobile home transporting and delivery.

In addition to his wife of almost 38 years, Dora, he is survived by one son: Brian (Rachel) Ingram of Burlington, KY; one daughter: Chastity (Tim) Burgess of Crittenden, KY; two brothers: Randy (Jeannine) Gordon of Williamstown, KY, Ronnie (Gloria) Gordon of Williamstown, KY and one sister: Francie (late Mike) Plunkett of Berry, KY. Nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive. He will be sadly missed by his friend and close comrade, “Bear”, a blue teacup Chihuahua.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
