Rhyan James Hatchett

Rhyan James Hatchett, age 24, of Georgetown, KY, formerly of Corinth, passed away Monday June 20, 2022 at his residence.  Born October, 25, 1997 in Covington, KY, he was the son of Jody Thomas and Kannetha Kaye Jones Hatchett

Rhyan was a 2016 graduate of Owen County High School. Upon graduation he worked for Love’s Travel Stop in Sadieville but he enjoyed nothing in life more than working and spending time with his dad on the farm. He was a sports enthusiast, loving the Cincinnati Reds, UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals and the Oregon Ducks. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching Tik Tok, but he will best be remembered for how he loved playing with all the ‘lil  babies in the family.  At an early age he was baptized at Stonewall Church of God.

In addition to his parents, Jody and Kannetha Hatchett, he leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters: Haley (Cody) Humphries and Hannah Hatchett (as well as several biological siblings), his paternal grandmother: Jonell Devers; his maternal grandfather: Lloyd Jones; two nieces: Addison, Emerson; a nephew: Grayson, his uncles: Hunter Hatchett, Chris Jones, Chris Devers and his aunt: Katrina Hatchett, along with numerous cousins and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Calvin Devers and his maternal grandmother: Bertheda Dunaway.

Visitation will be Friday June 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Roger Wells officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help carry on his legacy.

Serving as pallbearers are: Daniel Jones, Trent Jones, Joe Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Adam Barnes and Bradley Barnes.
