Richard Byrd Partin, Sr.

Richard Byrd Partin, Sr. was born June 2, 1946 in Barbourville, Kentucky and passed away May 21, 2022 at his home in Crittenden, Kentucky at the age of 75.  He was the son of the late Jason and Beatrice Monhollen Partin.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Margie" Partin, on Aug. 18, 2020.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Caudill, and five brothers: William Howard, Robert, David, Daniel. and Junior Partin and two sisters, Wanda Partin and Hazel Peace.  He was a retired dump truck driver.

He is survived by 3 sons: Virgil Caudill, Sr. of Dry Ridge, Richard Partin, Jr. of Falmouth and Mark Partin of Dry Ridge; 4 daughters: Rebecca Jones of Corinth, Christine Slusher of Corinth, Tabitha Walters of Owenton and Ruth Bass of Owenton; a brother: Everette Wayne Partin, Sr. of Corinth; 2 sisters: Janie Bailey and Linda Sue Roberts both of Owenton; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
