Rick Voughn Devine

Rick Voughn Devine, age 61, of Verona, KY, passed away Monday November 14, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.  Born July 29, 1961 in Marion, IN, he was the son of Larry Ellsworth and Suzanne Swouthwood Devine.

On March 19, 1993, Rick was united in marriage to the former Marsheila Ann Holida; she survives. He worked in the Color Development Department of Celanese Plastics/Polymer Inc. in Florence. He was a graduate of Southwood High School in Wabash, IN. Boating was one of his greatest enjoyments, along with old cars and sports, but his great fulfillment came from spending time with his family, especially his wife of 30 years, Marshelia.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents: Larry and Suzanne Devine of Somerset, IN; one daughter: Leigh Ann (Nathan) Goetz of Warsaw, KY; one brother: Keith (Teresa) Devine of Flowery Branch, GA, along with his two granddaughters, whom lovingly called him “Poppy”: Haleigh Tuttle and Hayden Ramey.

Graveside services will be held Friday November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Concord Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Verona with Rev. Chad Brannan officiating.

Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Devine.
