Ricky Edward Baxter

Ricky E. Baxter, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY after a long illness.

Ricky was born on March 16, 1960 to the late Edward Thomas Baxter and Norma Raisor Baxter, whom survives.  Ricky was the owner and operator of Rick's Auto Repair for most of his life.  He was a very talented man whom could fix anything and loved to work on cars, pull trucks, go four wheeling, fishing, vacationing in Gatlinburg and Panama Beach, playing cards at the casino and playing basketball.  He dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Norma Raisor Baxter, son, Barry (Lyndetta) Baxter, sisters, Darlene West, Brenda Collett and granddaughter, Kinsley Rayne Baxter.  He was preceded in death by his father Edward Thomas Baxter, brother, Gary Thomas Baxter, brother in law Ronnie West and his favorite dog Midget.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5-8 pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be Friday at 11am at the funeral home.  Rev. Howard Chipman will be officiating services.  Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans organization.
