Rita Violet Colson

Rita Violet Colson, 82, of Corinth, KY, slipped into the arms of her loving Savior early Wednesday morning March 16, 2022 at Boonespring Nursing and Rehab Center in Union.  Born July 13, 1939 in the Keefer Community of Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Dora Blackburn Colson.

She previously worked for Gibson Greeting Cards in Cincinnati. In later years, she was the primary caregiver of her parents. She was a lifelong member of Antioch Church of Christ in Keefer; working and serving in the church was one of her greatest fulfillments in life.

Survivors include three sisters: Frances Simpson, Betty Ellis, Martha Bachman, all of Williamstown; one brother: Harold Gene “Peck” Colson of Corinth, along with 48 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday March 26 , 2022 from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. at Antioch Church of Christ, located at 210 Keefer Road, Corinth, KY  41010.  Funeral services will begin at 3:00.  Burial will follow in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.
