Robert "Bobby" Marksberry

Robert “Bobby” Marksberry of Williamstown, KY was born August 31, 1939 in Owen County, KY and died Monday, July 11, 2022 at his residence at the age of 82 years.

Bobby was the son of the late Joseph and Lola B. Roland Marksberry. He was a retired laborer with the Kentucky State Highway Department, was a retired equipment operator for Hale Construction, and a farmer. On September 23, 1961 he was united in marriage to his wife Dorothy Mae Billiter Marksberry, who preceded him in death in 2020. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Joe and David Marksberry, and 3 sisters, Mary Rice, Lola Horn, and Clara Ackman.

Surviving is 1 son, Mike (Rhonda) Marksberry of Jonesville; 2 daughters, Debbie (Sean Poteet) Marksberry of Williamstown and Pat (Mikie) Conrad of Williamstown; 1 brother, Rev. Paul (Janet) Marksberry of Williamstown; 1 sister, Katherine (Ron) Mullins of Williamstown; 7 grandchildren, Mandy Smith, Todd Marksberry, Jason Webster, Britney Attinger, Jordan Marksberry, Mikayla Marksberry and Miriah Marksberry; and 12 great-grandchildren, Miley Smith, Chloe Marksberry, Dezi Marksberry, Mathew Britton, JJ Webster, Kaylee Webster, Lucas Webster, Addison Webster, Brooklyn Marksberry, Paisley Attinger, Bailey Marksberry, and Brantley Marksberry.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
