Robert Lee Messer

Robert Lee Messer was born May 16, 1980 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away January 25, 2024 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 43.  He is survived by his parents, Bobby Messer of Owenton and Clara Shirley Oaks Blaine of Williamstown.

Robert was a clamp driver for Novolex in Richwood and a graduate of Carroll County High School.  He enjoyed fishing and playing games, especially chess and poker.  One of his favorite pastimes was riding his motorcycle.  Robert's greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

On June 19, 2010 Robert was united in marriage to Emily Bradley-Messer.  In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by three sons: Taylor Messer of Hortense, Georgia, Mace Evans of Mt. Zion and Malachi Bradley, of Peoria, IL; a brother, James Messer, of Ghent; four sisters, Bobbie Barton of Crittenden, Rebecca Haubner of Dry Ridge, Eva Messer of Owenton and Lisa Messer of Owenton; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge.  Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home.
