Robert Morgan

Robert Morgan, 98, of Crittenden, KY, died on Monday November 29, 2021 at Villaspring of Erlanger. Born Thursday April 5, 1923 in Hamilton, OH, he was the son of the late Daw and Jemima Retherford Morgan. On October 29, 1943, he was united in marriage to the former Thelma Fischer; she preceded him in death on February 1, 2021. He was a self-employed Master Electrician by profession. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. In his free time he loved fishing, farming, gardening and operating his bulldozer. He was a member of Crittenden Christian Church. In addition to his wife, Thelma, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Janice Carol Mason, two brothers: Charlie (Cledous) Morgan, Bill (Mabel) Morgan and six sisters: Bessie (Grant) Metcalf, Susie (John) Wood, Callie (Floyd) Grubb, Rose (Charles) Moore, Ruth (Nathan) Sparks, Nancy (Edd) Hunter. He is survived by one sister: Jessie (Willard) Allen of Maineville, OH; two grandsons: Michael (Grace) Mason of Florence, KY and Marc (Karmen) Mason of Dry Ridge, KY along with five great-grandchildren: David Mason, Isaac Mason, Anthony Mason, Courtney Johnson, Kerri Francis and one great-great grandson: Layne Francis. Visitation will be Friday December 3, 2021 from 4:30 -6:30 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Crittenden location; funeral services will begin a 6:30. Burial will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at Crittenden Cemetery. (Those wishing to attend the graveside services may meet at the Crittenden funeral home at 9:30; we will be prepared to leave in procession to Crittenden Cemetery at 9:45.)
